Dysfunctionalities

I've had a couple live in girlfriends who may as well been wives. It's great, but at the same time I feel it weakens a man. It might have been different if they actually loved me and I wasn't just a cock/protector/provider, but to the say the least I'm skeptical of the whole thing now even though I want it. If I had a really good hearted woman that stuck by me I'd treat her like a queen and die for her if need be. There's just so much fake bullshit out there, take this as a warning to all who are reading.

And wanting a wife just to take care of you is the ultimate recipe for disaster. If you can't take care of yourself, healthy avenues or not, nobody can.

Mine is putting away clean laundry, and yard work. I haaaaate doing both those things, and usually don't until it becomes borderline embarrassing lol. Also, even though I'm kinda a neat freak, I rarely clean my room. Up until yesterday, it looked like an episode of Hoarders in there...

 

Look, based on your posts, it's obvious I have a lot more experience in this arena than you do. I don't mean that as an insult just stating a fact. You can try to marginalize me all you want with your one-liners, but it doesn't do a damn thing to actually discredit anything I've said. And believe me, I would be drinking a lot more if I didn't have to get up in 6 hours.

Well, I know most marriages/relationships don't make it past a decade.
My parents have been married for over 40 years.
However, I'm not the marrying type.
But would like it if I found (or she found me) a really good hearted woman that stuck by me I'd treat her like a queen and die for her if need be (well, we'll see about that one).

For me, If there was another person in the house I would make more effort.
I would not expect her to do anything more than me...
I'd just have to make sure that wasn't nothing at all...

I love to cook, and don't mind cleaning... but for some reason I have a really hard time cleaning the shit stains off the toilet.

Gf is responsible for all laundry as well. I do not touch or come near that shit.

I'm selfish and manipulative without really meaning to be.

 

I used to be really bad about washing dishes, they would pile up for days. We cook a lot more of our food from scratch now though, which dirties half of the stuff in the kitchen, so doing dishes is a necessity if we want to eat again tomorrow. We made a decision that I would do most of the cooking and she would wash most of the dishes, which works just fine for me.

I'm pretty bad for putting off laundry too, but now that we've moved we take our stuff to a laundromat, so my wife takes the laundry while I get stoned and clean the house. It's a pretty good arrangement.
