hidden embedded exicutables are no gift, however innocently they might otherwise be intended. try to remember that not everyone looks at or does things the same way. that diversity IS the nature of reality. so that what may seem harmless under any circumstance its creater is able to immagine, there are ALWAYS those that no one did. there are indeed nonobvious, even covert redirects on web. those that take you to a page that you were headed for but which has had it's domain chainged since the link you were fallowing to it was posted are about the only kind that i would consider bennificial and welcome. then of course there are sites, as i once did, that have pages, linked to each other through their home page, that are actualy hosted on different domains. this is, or can and usualy ought to be, done in a way that is totaly transparent to the visitor/user, PROVIDED the target page provides a way back to the origeonaly calling home. i'm not familiar with stand alone entertainment or game systems either one. i suppose in a sufficiently quarinteened context like that such things might be totaly fun and harmless. i don't mean to rag on well intended good clean fun, but there are people out there, such as myself, who cannot readily afford to replace resources that bring them far more usefullness and even pleasure then any amount of surprise random socializing. such things, when they truly are harmless, are still, often at best, annoying. i mean i DO like the unexpected, but only when it brings about truely exotic gratification, and isn't some dorkus trying to con someone into coffing up their limited resources for useless crap they're not THAT interested in. easter eggs for sueth. laid by batman's robbin no doubt. =^^= .../\...
