True that! I tend to treat the drugs I consume (even chemicals) the same way Natives treat their peyote, caapi, coca leaf or whatever. I consider they have a "spirit" of their own, which I treat with great respect.

Once again I have to agree, especially when we talk about personal growth resulting from a trip. I read somewhere that an intense and introspective trip is worth up to 10 years of psychotherapy, in one shot. I sure can be painful!

    Drug use always carries risk.

It is bad to both demonize drugs and say that they are harmless.

There is an infamous drifter that lives in my town that is known for his going crazy from doing psychedelics. He now wears neon leggings everyday and paces the main streets up and down regularly. Some people react differently to shrooms; some have an amazing life altering trip, and some could have a brain aneurysm and never be the same. I understand where the OP is coming from, but doing drugs is exactly the same kind of gamble we take when we get in a car, we are taking a risk and living with the consequences.

this is the stupidest bullshit i've ever heard. Every person on this planet fits the description of at least one type of mental disorder.

Mental disorders are just names doctors made up for the shit we don't want our brains to do, but some do anyways.

I know this dude that is legit schizo, and then he ate a bunch of acid, and he is still schizo.

Ten years of psychotherapy? That could save me a lot of time, money, and aggrivation. I've never tried mushrooms but I'd like to. I think I'm finally to the point where I will be able to process whatever I realize about my self and others.

Wearing neon leggings and walking on the street is the surest sign of insanity.

Yes obviously this is surely the first sign of insanity for everyone! Check your closets guys, the neon leggings could be out for you! You should know voyage, obviously you are well acquainted with this man to call it bs

He's crazy, I've tried to talk to him and he growled at me ;) but it didn't deter me from experimenting myself.

I was half ribbing you McCloud...
Probably no doubt the guy is a few wrenches short of a tool kit. It just takes more than neon leggings to convince me tho. There are plenty of people out there that judge that way tho.

A few years ago I used to see this guy all the time where I worked.

The claims of schizophenia are tenuous... I happen to think he is just a bit off and the people that say he's crazy say that because its the only way they can wrap their head around his lifestyle. Note the last statement on that page.
He's happy. He harms no one. Fuck it. Who am I to say he's crazy?

Ya but if you really liked me, you'd let me borrow your neon leggings once in awhile.

HELP! They made their way up to my closet!

I've never been the same! After every intense trip I had, I felt like I was somebody new. It's not necessarily bad, though.

I love neon leggings :D the dude just doesn't pull them off though I'm afraid.

I agree, I had a life altering trip my first time and I swear I wasn't the same after.
