What are you rambling about? I am not blaming them for anything. I am simply saying they are an enormous group of old people for now and in the near future and once they are gone (naturally, through old age don't worry ) we as a society have it a bit easier in the sense of less mouths to feed, more jobs again etc. More opportunity for change. Except of course if we all get 4 kids. Ah well, if we can pull off this lifestyle as long as we live that's the problem for the people in the next century then I guess!
Was I rambling? I thought you were blaming boomers for having too many kids. In your case I'll have to agree...at least one too many
Cows were never meant to eat soy, grain, or anything other than grass. When you feed a cow something they were never intended to eat, they become sick. That is why the difference between conventional beef and grass-fed beef is staggering.
No, if they are with too many now it means their parents, my grandparents generation, had too many kids. But really, I was not trying to guild trip anyone so that's why I called your post rambling. It's unfortunate you have to interprete it like that.
I'm not sure if you were talking about me, but my idea wasn't that because I can garden, screw everyone else. My point is, at this point there just is no way to feed all these people. We're too concerned with feeding farm animals, building housing complexes, industrial complexes and drilling for oil and whatever other reasons there are for destroying good growing land and throwing away tons of food everyday. I agree with you that it's going to take quite a while for humanity to become sustainable, if it ever happens again. I don't think there will be 7 billion people on the earth at that time.
