There is a hospital employee who may have handled a specimen from Duncan. She's on a cruise ship. I think it's crazy that they've just now put travel restrictions on these hospital employees.
    Code:
In a related case, a health care worker who may have handled a specimen from Duncan was reported to be on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.

Is there a health risk in flying? On USA NOW, Carly Mallenbaum answers that question, and looks at how airport, health and school officials are reacting to the fact that an Ebola-infected woman boarded a plane. (USA NOW, USA TODAY)

Industry giant Carnival says it was notified late Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that a passenger on the Texas-based Carnival Magic was a lab supervisor at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. Carnival says the unnamed woman, who boarded the ship in Galveston on Sunday, has been placed in isolation on the ship and has shown no signs of illness.

The Belize government Thursday denied a U.S. request to allow the woman or her spouse to leave the ship and be evacuated through the international airport in Belize City. Friday afternoon, the Mexican government refused to allow the ship to dock in Cozumel, so the ship is headed back to its home port, Galveston, Texas, where it's due Sunday, Carnival said. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/10/17/texas-ebola-health-care-workers-travel-ban/17424465/

So far the Alex Jones reporting on ebola has been very accurate. The US government does have a patent on one form of ebola, originally brought here from Uganda. I also know several scientists who worked at Rocky Falts, Hanford, and Red Stone. I know what sort of Chemical and Biological war heads the US military keeps. I also know what I have seen with my own eyes. I studied under a man who participated in the SALT Treaty negotiations with the Russians. Don't forget, the good ol' US of A is so far the only nation to use nukes on a civilian population. That was in Japan. In Viet Nam, the US carpet bombed cities in operation Rolling Thunder. In Iraq, the US military has turned the land into a toxic waste land. The USA might come up with a vaccine for ebola; however, it will most likely be contracted out to some big corporation to be sold for ridiculous prices, like the AIDS vaccine. America is a terrible country and is likely behind the ebola outbreak in western Africa. Please note that each of these nations were "invented" by the US government as places for the return of formerly enslaved negros. I read news from lots of sources, and will continue to read Alex Jones. I won't allow a white Christian American dictate what I read, what I speak, or when I do so.

Alex Jones is a fat piece of shit who uses fear to sell his "Male Vitality," "Survival Shield," and other ripoff supplements at extortionate prices. Now he's even selling "Obola" t-shirts on his website as a way of even further cashing in on the media's fearmongering. All Alex is doing with regard to the Ebola non-crisis is taking the media's propaganda and magnifying it times 100 as he laughs all the way to the bank. The guy is a total piece of shit, because if he actually stood for the truth he would be exposing this "crisis" as the media-manufactured hoax that it is. Instead he is running with it and saying you're all gonna die because the government isn't doing enough. Fuck you Alex Jones!!!!! You are a despicable piece of trash!!!!!

I don't think I called him any names... I just explained to him why he should be more precise in the things he claims if he wants to be taken seriously. He was saying each of those countries in west africa dealing with ebola now has been 'invented' by the US government. How is it not worthwile to point out that's false. It's not entirely off topic either.

I was just stating facts and defending Alex Jones. That other fella sure did call him names, and it seems what he says is not an issue. Then again, this is America and there are preferences among certain classes of people.

Well that was my problem: you weren't stating facts at all when you said that all/each of those countries were 'invented' by the US government. Not even Liberia, which was founded with the help of americans but not primarily the US government either.

Normally I like reading articles from Alex Jones' website, and listen to his radio show occasionally. He reports things the mainstream media won't. The only thing I don't like about him is how big of a fear salesman he is. Today, every single headline on his home page has to do with ebola. I've lost more respect for him for buying into the same exact fear mongering tactics everyone else is doing over ebola. He's exploiting the hell out of the fear campaign and it's pathetic.

It appears as if none of Duncan's personal contacts have contracted Ebola.

The first group of people exposed to Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person to die from Ebola in the United States, will no longer be considered at risk for the Ebola virus at 12 a.m. Monday.
After three weeks of isolation or self-monitoring, 47 people -- including Duncan's fiancee Louise Troh, her 13-year-old son and two nephews --- will be cleared and allowed to go on with their lives.

Yet we're supposed to believe these nurses somehow contracted it from him. What did they do, wipe his puke on them?

According to the CDC, we're supposed to believe that they contaminated themselves during the process of removing their protective gear.

Incompetence theory vs. conspiracy theory seem to be the two prevailing sides in this whole ordeal with regard to what people are thinking. Either people believe the system is really that incompetent, or they see that such incompetence is merely a convenient cover story and excuse for why things have happened as they have. I personally believe it's the latter.

Did anybody see that they shut down part of the Pentagon and the parking lot was full of has-mat guys because some random lady vomited in the parking lot? Seriously going to far...
