3:29- They need to ignore this revolution so people in the USA don't get the same ideas.

That couldn't be a better connotative description of what she was saying.

    That video was hilarious.

I would agree, but ignoring the (any) problem just allows it to spread without your notice until you can't ignore it any longer.

What I love is that it hit nearly everything I think is wrong with the US gov't. Egypt epitomizes what US Imperialism does to a country it hasn't needed to invade (yet). Iraq and Afghanistan are perfect examples of what happens when we do invade. Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut are soon to follow.

Why there's $$$$ to be made in dem thar cuntrees! Let's make 'em buy our tanks and guns. If they refuse, they'll soon be looking down at our tanks and guns as we invade them....

Of course to ensure that the money continues to flow into the US it's necessary to install puppet regimes to whom we give a percentage of kickbacks to.

You realize another reason why the US has to tread lightly with Mubarak?

HE KNOWS TOO MUCH! If the US were to totally abandon him, he could say some things that would make the embassy cables look like birthday cards...

I bet right now Mubarak is bargaining with the US, demanding a stiff price for his resignation and SILENCE! I'm sure his silence will extract a price equal or greater than his resignation...

How many MORE billions will it take to remove and silence Mubarak?

So what is slowing the whole process down is the ongoing bargaining between Mubarak & the state dept, and then there will have to be approval by some functionary, like Obama. Then Mubarak will wait until the funds are transferred into his accounts. Then he will leave, and not a moment before.

So this should all play out by the end of the week, possibly sooner, depending upon the state of negotiations at this point.

Well, there was also that part about the US secretly monitoring the situation over there. So they'll be anything but anaware or without notice of what's in the weeks to come.

Yes it did. I always knew most politicians spewed horse shit, but I've never read a connotative description over top of the actual speech before. It was funny in that what the description read was pretty well on par with Hilary's own words. It made it a lot easier to see through.

I don't see why it's shocking women are protesting too, every Arab state is not Saudi Arabia. Hell even in Iran which is more restrictive towards women they were out in equal force with men.

Yes'm the average american does have a way of getting on my bad side.

That's just the point t'aint it? The average american is doing what he/she always does. Looking for some sort of higher-power that is responsible for this. The idea that Egyptians just suddenly became inspired by the events of Tunisia is just to hard to except. So now they're going on the Internet conspiracy organization conspiracy.

Yeltsin was a drunk and he was put into power following plans in which George Bush the first probably personally helped create. The CIA was looking to find a way to stop the expensive arms race and save face from the failed-but-never-existed -imaginary star wars program. It was also hoped that they could eventually collapse the Russian economy and begin taking control over Russia's energy reserves.

The Internet was a fledgling technology in those days. With the largest backbone in Russia not being able to handle more than 128 megabits. Several leaked CIA budget documents point to a still classified operation caled "Rouse the Russie."

    I have always said,
"Since there times I have no choice but to be on the Internet. I might as well try to do something productive." But equally I have also acknowledged that I'm in effect banging my head on a wall. Personally, I think my being able to inspire any kind of change in the United States has less of a chance than pigs learning to fly. But my daddy used to say that if you don't have hope, you got nightmares.

If I did find myself with a group of several thousand people ready with bricks to create change in the United States. I doubt I would give the order to throw them at the government. After everything I've seen in this country, I would have them throw them at the people coming out of Walmart and Jack in the Box.

Literally the CIA created the Soviet Union before the CIA even existed, than decided to dismantle it when it got bored with it.

Actually this entire thread is you doing that. I don't know anyone or have seen any news outlet that hasn't directly linked this to Tunisia.

Hilary Clinton begged for the egyptian government to NOT turn off social networks and now the EGYPTIANS HAVE LOST.

They were trying to say that the anti-government militants were using Facebook to organize. But it's just another tactic that the United States goverment uses to make everyone look in the opposite direction. (Kind of like how all the propaganda about "dirty bombs" was used to hide the fact that the US military uses depleted uranium )

It's been 3 weeks since things started and now the "president Hosni Moubarak" is going to supervise his succession. Because afterall, if he left it would put democracy in jeopardy.

IN short, the Egyptian Revolution is dead. The United States is installing another puppet. It's just amazing how well that "social networking" works to maintain the status quo.

Yes, and today there was the biggest turnout ever, no doubt due to the fact that the INTERNET is back on.

Egypt's revolution is far from dead. So long as there is Internet there will continue to be revolutions powered by technology in the hands of the PEOPLE!

This should have been over 5 days after the first brick was thrown.
That's how uprisings work. Anything less normally degenerates into a civil war. What is happening now is both a testament to the tenacity of the Egyptians for change. But it's also very sadly a testament to nothing less than manipulation by our government to control the situation until they can put in power another puppet.

    Trust me,
With what the United States stands to loose if Egypt falls into the "wrong hands." If Facebook or Google was helping the revolution, the United States would only be extremely happy to start killing Google and Facebook executives.

    Besides,
It's no big secret that the CIA gave start-up money to Google. Or, that Google and the NSA have formed a partnership. (Do your own research)

And Facebook received 12,7 million dollars to start-up from ACCEL corporation and their CEO James Breyer. The CIA is a parent company of ACCEL and In-Q-Tel. Both companies work for the CIA as venture capital organizations. In layman's terms, the primary interest holders of Facebook is the CIA.

    So ask yourself this,
With CIA money in both Facebook and Google. Do you REALLY BELIEVE that they would let either Google or Facebook, start or support a revolution if it wasn't going to work in benefit to their desired interests?

Come on boys... I'm sure none of you was born under a cabbage leaf.
