christmas is coming the goose is gettin fat go and buy presents that are a load of fuckin tat spend yer dosh just like posh get home and shout out loud good golly fuckin gosh watch the tele whilst filling yer belly muttering under your breath not on my fuckin nelly wear new clobber to pub christmas day stand at the bar havin a jar whilst looking so fuckin gay drink yer bevy coz that aint heavy roll a j coz chrimbos gone ok ..............

Saint Nicholas existed, he was a Turkish Bishop in the 4th century... his charity has got muddled up with several pagan myths about spirits which visit during winter months. These spirits need to be appeased with some kind of sacrificial offering and they will be good to you. Mince pies and sherry for Santa, sweets for the ghoulish spirits on Halloween - it's all part of the same mush of stories Interesting that there is some kind of veiled menace in the traditional figure of Santa - this idea that the winter spirit brings bad will if you don't appease him is no longer a big part of our mythology of Christmas, though kids are told that they need to be good or won't get any gifts...

 

I think in some parts of the world it is, i wish it was like that here still. I think some dude goes around certain villages in certain parts of europe [Germany and Austria i think]. Seeking out 'bad' children. That would be sooooo funny. Oh well we seem to get the boring end of it all .
