I can understand why someone would want to keep it separate, or free of their practice. But nothing completes a great massage like that. I've been to massage therapists though where that would have been weird, for example at the chiropractor offices I've been to. The earthy, holistic extremely open ones are great for a massage like that. And the asians, but I've wondered how many of them are some kind of indentured servant smuggled into the US at those places when I've gone there.

 

Thinking about it, I've decided that I will not visit this type of massage parlor again, because they are reported to so often be victimizing women from eastern nations.

By many reports from responsible agencies and organizations, women are often coerced and manipulated by taking advantage of their circumstances and are often extorted by threats against family members at home.


Many of the Asian massage parlors may be staffed by willing workers, but the prevalence of human trafficking means that patronizing them presents a high probability of being part of a system of sexual slavery.

I think one of the issues with mixing "happy ending" with massage therapy in this country is that many a female massage therapist got certified to start a respectable career helping people, only to be treated like a whore by clients who don't respect that. The vast majority of Massage Parlours are just that - Massage Parlours. It's only the cheesy porn videos that put on the impression that all Massage Parlours are just a fancy name for a Brothel (which I admit, many of which are). The thing is, though that the Porn image of these Massage Parlours is no more realistic than the ones with Schoolteachers, where the supposed teacher, who is always dressed totally inappropriately for a schoolteacher, seduces a supposed pupil, who is supposed to be a4 - 15, but is clearly in his 30s, or the ones with the nurses, whose uniforms bear absolutely no similarity to a real nurses uniform (you'd think they could, at least, get that detail right).
