FUN FACT:

When Micheal Crichton was a medical student he published his first novel under a pseudonym. It's a medical murder mystery published around 68.
The 1st addition (and maybe a few more ) contain instructions on how to perform The Legendary 3 Step LSD Manufacture. Later it was taken out (an editorial note left behind)and the book was re-printed under his real name. It's supposed to be totally legit-- remember, the guy was an MD. And a smart MF.
Unfourtunetly, I don't have it either!

I'm not telling the name of the book-- easy enough to find out.
I've been searching for a 1st addition for 3 years no luck.
Go try your library-- you might get lucky.

If you're saying it's cool and worth owning because the book has a legit LSD formula, hell yeah.

But if you're saying to follow... You can find it all over the internet, namely on erowid in TIHKAL (or of course, in a physical copy) and erowid has lots of pages devoted to psychedelic chemistry, with MANY MANY LSD manufacture methods listed.... Some may not be correct or there in their entirety, but anyone with a fraction of the knowhow or precursers or equipment to make LSD will be able to actually understand the reactions, and pick out any problems.

Frankly, with the number of methods there are, this one method doesn't sound that valuable to me...

LSD isn't speed, no matter how many steps your process has you need the same tightly controlled circumstances, very dangerous chemicals, very illegal chemicals, very expensive hard to come by equipment, space..... You basically need sandoz laboratories in your garage.... Not to mention that you need to be as invisible as a ghost, ie your land doesn't officially EXIST, and you need years upon years of training, you need people getting you these chemicals and equipment, which also can't exist, and you need people disposing of waste, which can't exist, and moving LSD for you, which can't exist, least of all exist anywhere near you. Oh, did I mention that YOU can't exist?

Also, a chemist of sufficent worth should be able to re-create this method, if IT is of sufficent worth.
