Well, its not up to me to even try to discuss wether or not dream matters are real or not, since it cant even be proven that waking life is real. But, I will say however, that if Universal Conciousness is God, where then, did Universal Conciousness come from? I only ask because I agree, but I believe in the Trinity as told by Jesus, only in a different interpretation. And it is this : 1. God the Father (This is unexplainable, but is like the Cosmic Dreamer, from where we come from, all of existence was dreamed by this Father.) 2. God the Son (Christ Conciousness, or, Universal Conciousness as you call it, we are all One and can realize how to be like Christ, or Krsna, or whatever.) 3. God the Holy Spirit (The Spirit that is within every particle of material existance, Brahma to Hindu's, the Sound Aum, the vibration of life that we come from and continue to be. "In the beginning, their was the Word, and the Word was God". The Word being Aum. ) So, we are the Cosmic Dream vibration, we come from nothing more than the idea God had where He made the cosmos. And we are that storm on the ocean, a storm of which the winds blow waves into the water. We crash into the shore some day for the last time, and again the water of God's sea is calm.
God ,the univesal conciousness is God alone, there is no three headed concience All things were made through God the uninversal conscious. There was the universal conscious and it had thoughts and those thoughts came into being as the holy spirit and the christ. In the begining was God the universal conscious and he had a thougtht and that thought became His word and His word was with Him and his word was Him. From his thoughts he created his Holy Spirit and His Christ All things were made by Him for Him.Why would you be a trinity when you are already a pentity. There is nothing outside of God, the universal conscious. Jesus only ask us to baptise in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit but he said his Father was greater than him.
"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away" ~ Philip K. Dick I like this definition
Apparently, you misunderstand me. Yes, the Trinity is a man's concept. Am I a man? Yes. That's why I use it. Even my use of it is included in the Universal Conciousness we mention. I would never claim to be able to explain God, but God's physical manifestation in material Nature can at least be considered observable and we as human beings are bound to give parts of it some kind of name. But this does not allude to any sort of seperation or indivuality of the represented parts. "In the begining was God the universal conscious and he had a thougtht and that thought became His word and His word was with Him and his word was Him" John, my favorite. (I was even named after him) Yes, in the beginning was the Word. And the Word sounds like this : Aum Ooooooooommmmmmmm Shanti ~ Aumen my friend ~
wow this is really interesting i never thought about it this way... kinda reminds me of the movie fight club though because tyler durden was basically a representation of who the narrator wanted to be =)
were all in hell and were not getting saved the true life is outside the walls of the universe. pure spirit and energy what you do now grants you points in my opinion and you draw off that
recently i've thought about a similar idea, i'll try and explain it. I'm not sure if it's the idea that everything is a construct of my imagination, or that possibly i (We all) transcend this plane of existence and in fact exist on my different levels. My thought is that, my reality is what i know, and say when i sleep, or trip, or imagine many different things, my mind is creating whole other worlds. but perhaps i exist in all these other words just as i exist here, my concious keeps me tied to this world (or universe or whatever, i'll use the word world for now) just as my concious keeps me tied to another world, this entire day could be a fleeting moment in another world, while a 5 minute dream could be one of my realitys in another world where everything is different. They're all connected to me, just a different (or the same) me thats experience another life somewhere else. We may only see glimpses of these worlds as it's a tie to another place, somewhere where we our selves could not exist in our current state, but our alternate selves can. So every time i dream that i'm falling and bang i wake up, that bit of me dies, but every time i dream, i find different places, some worlds could be on a loop, while other places could only exist for moments, and others could be eternal. I'm guessing this idea is pretty old, in fact i'm pretty sure i just described that jet li movie "the one" but still. the thought of existing on so many levels to such an extent that we are truly eternal. I guess we'll never know. Just a thought, don't know if i believe it, but last time i tripped it all made a bit more sense, hard to explain. I wonder if we have any real place in those worlds rather than a fleeting glance as we warp through our lives here.
