I have showed you the scriptures before where it says he is the ruler of this world. Shall i post them again?
And I have told you that the son of man is lord of the sabbath. You are the one who is insisting he is ruler, no one else.
I am insisting nothing, the bible clearly says it. Look at mankind, we kill each other, we conspire. Crime is rampant, drug use, suicide, greedy ness, selfishness. What makes you think God is the ruler of us right now? Is love, joy and peace rampant?
Because the holy spirit is in my heart and mind and I have sought god with all my strength and seen my brothers concerns as equal to my own. You are sittin on your ass and pontificating and you do not know how to read the signs of life.
Go dust off your bible and look up 2 Corinthians 4:4 and tell me what it says. Whatever version i dont care.
It says he has bound the unbelievers, says nothing about you being bound unless in fact you do not believe. Those who have ears can hear those who have eyes can see but you have your dogma to satisfy you. Go brush up on your promise of the holy spirit. and with it you will do these things and things greater than these.
How does a person choose what they believe? I don't think our minds work that way, we can't choose what we believe. We can choose what we'd like to believe ...
They deconstruct their beliefs, have a sudden epiphany and/or have life experiences that challenge their beliefs. The person makes a choice based on these experiential phenomena, accumulated knowledge, etc. People go from religious to non-religious, vice versa or jump ship from one religion to another quite frequently.
a single inovative thought can alter an entire gestalt.i recognize this from the psychedelic experience which was mind openning. I've made the comment beofre that because of my regimented style i would have become a republican governor of kansas instead of a peacenik.
Maybe not, if Hugh Everetts Many-Worlds Theory is true, someone in another parallel universe, a parallel you, was posting the exact opposite, on a website that is the opposite of HF on the opposite internet. That john could have been a peacenic but due to a profound revelation became a republican and governor of kansas and was simultaneously posting it on 'Republican operative.com', for instance LOL. And there was the nhoJ (John backwards, lol) that was not posting, and so on, in every possible combination. "Our “reality” at an exact moment in one parallel universe will be completely unlike that of another world; but it is only a tiny figment of an infinite and absolute truth. You might believe you are reading what I have typed here, but there are many copies of you that are not reading it. In fact, you are even the author in some distant reality." I wish Spicey Cat was around. She suggested her first DMT trip changed her from a staunch atheist to a believer in some type of afterlife. I realize the idea is backed by theoretical physics but when it's layed down like that it honestly sounds more ridiculous than the op's claim. Actually according to the theory if I understand it, the op's claim would have to be true in at least one universe.
LOL, I know, right? its sounds pretty ridiculous, and of course its an extrapolation of the theory but apparently there are no experiments yet to disprove it. The way I understand it, there's only the split to the multiverse if there's more than one possible outcome. so In my view if there's only one universe that the op's claim is true, the split doesn't happen because there can only be one truth. Does that make sense? lol also According to the theory, we are immortal anyway, no one ever actually dies because there are practically infinite copys of you in the other universes.
i dont think so, after birth, a conscious person can deliver information, after death they cant. but, as always, im sure you have some deeper meaning to your post.
