You already did. You are learning more about what you can do every second it seems. Please be my guest and continue, I will protect you from default.
it depends on what context really. there is no rule that rules out scripture. there are only rules for logic, or reason. example: you cannot quote scripture to prove scripture, because that would be a logical falacy of circular reasoning. but if you have any good logic or reason to believe what you believe, lets hear it. sorry if i came off as a dick earlier, im actually a bit of an asshole. (lol, yes i laugh at my own jokes)
Spent dang near a quarter hour waitin on you, aren't you so special to look a gift horse in the mouth, ride em cowboy.
You would like that huh. I bet that's why you came back here and make the same kind of threads. So... why did you came back to pose as a jehova's witness again?
Thanks for the insight but i tjink i will stick to the rules and post nothing about the most widely circulated book in history.
Not on purpose. So is that all you choose to focus on? That means you are merely conveniently avoiding my question. Understandable, that way you still have a chance triggering someone in calling you a fanatic right?
Not especially. I was just pointing out that you spelled Gods name wrong and by the way, i am not fanatical, but my posts may seem that way without a backing and my backing is the book that has been produced in more languages than any other book.
You are still avoiding my original question by conveniently focussing on my trivial spelling mistake And we know you're not fanatical which makes the invite to call you just that a bit dubious. You can back up your posts without literal quotes of the bible as has been pointed out already by thedope. Not doing so with the excuse you give just makes it clear you are not here to seriously convey any spiritual opinion of yourself but simply posting those of another minority to trigger particular responses.
Alright fine, i better not get banned for this. In Ecclesiastes, king Solomon wrote, the dead are concious of nothing at all. Jesus spoke of death when his friend Lazarus died and while traveling to where he was he told the apostles that he Going to awaken him from sleep. Jesus also spoke on the occassion concerning a dead girl. Jesus said, the little girl did not die, but she is sleeping and when Stephen was stoned it said ' he fell asleep in death. There are a few more examples from the square sometimes black book that compares death to sleeping
And what of any of those things you point out has anything to do with life in the body? The girl he said was not dead but only sleeping. He made the distinction about lazarus to demonstrate that is not where the spirit is at. Make no mistake the body is laid to rest, but the spirit does not die.. Now if the body was what resurrected, where is the living body? Was he resurrected only to die again in the same body?
So if the dead are conscious of nothing and the soul itself dies with the body then what is left? Certainly no communication from the grave. you don't know anything about death. you see an energetic process that we observe in life.
as if that adds any credability at all. we are at a new age, the bible might be the most popular book in the world, but it does not compare to new electronic text. think about how many poeple read the bible on a daily basis and compare that with how many people visit facebook or google on a daiy basis. i dont have the numbers but im pretty sure facebook beats the good book every single day. so the fact that its widely circulated, in every language, and all that bullshit doesnt add one bit of credence to your arguments, actually it sounds like your grasping at straws now because you cant respond with anything close to a logical argument.
Exactly. More people are reading the internet or tv getting fed by satan and not by God But the bible is being printed everyday in every kind of language cause it is gods will that everyone come to an accurate knowledge of it. Tell me fine sir, have you even opened a bible or sincerely studied it?
