Expected arrival date=accurate?

I really hope this new baby is on time this time around! Yesterday at my group appointment all the women are due before me (I'm oct 28th), and there's a party on november 1st where everyone brings in their babies and they take a big group photo....since Leane was 2 weeks late, I'm thinking they're just going to be taking a pic of my big ol belly...

 

Mine was quite close. He came 4 days after his due date. My daughter was a scheduled c-section so they took her out 10 days before my due date, thank goodness for that, she was huge!

 

my daughter was born 8 days after the due date. My son was actually born on his due date. different midwives, but I don't think that it was a matter of accuracy when my son was born on his due date, I think it was just a fluke

 

I don't even like to tell people my due dates when they ask, for that reason... I don't want to put a date... a restriction on my baby. I've seen two people and they've given me two different dates and when I did my own calculations I came up with a different date from the other two. They are all within a 3 week period... I am seeing someone else this week, maybe 2, I wonder if I will get 2 more due dates... it doesn't matter to me anyway, it's really like a big joke.

I was a day late, which is the closest I've heard to the EDD. And I'm disgusted at the uneccessary induction rate these days... luckily some babies come before that and get to choose when they come.

I don't care when the baby comes, I just don't want it to come premature... I could be pregnant forever.

my son was 4 days early, first daughter was 3 days early and second daughter was 10 days early
