But I have given lots of advice.

 

I used to use Tineye, and others have mentioned it in this thread, but it doesn't seem to be very effective anymore. They don't seem to have kept up and it doesn't find very many pictures posted in recent years. Try Duplichecker:

It has 6 reverse image sites to choose from. You only have to select the image or paste-in the URL once to use all 6. One of them is Tineye. The best by far is Yandex. It's the one of the six boxes at the bottom with the red-colored Y. It will find many more postings of an image than tineye or the others will. Yandex is Russia-based, but you aren't uploading photos of you (you're uploading photos you're suspicious of to see where else they've been posted) so I wouldn't worry too much about security. Do a comparison and try all 6 to see for yourself which works best.

There's also a plagiarism check on the same Duplichecker screen. Many an erotic tale has been copied from elsewhere and not the original work of the person purporting to have written it.

Well it can be a double edged sword . A few weeks after I started on this site. My GF started her own profile. It seems that someone ( some one with editing powers ) accused her of being a guy and making a fake female profile. Not sure what happened but her picture was deleted . And she received a notice that her account was going to be closed for being fake. Or something like that. All of this based on the fact that we shared the same IP address . She became upset over the whole thing and now years later does not want anything to do with it. And to be honest I can understand her view point. It is now water under the bridge. I agree that there are people out there doing this. But there are also others that are being dragged down with it

 

It can be quite funny at times.
Jane and I use the same profile and both of our daughters post on a few occasions. Everyone here knows the situation, but on one occasion a guy sent ME a PM, asking whether I was wearing my skirt that day. We all spent days laughing and joking about it.

 

The "Bare It" section here at Hipforums is the one I visit the most, and the number of fake females there is ridiculous. Once in a while I've searched on any images that they post and the search engine finds them on porn sites, but it's like shoveling against the tide. The best services seem to be Yandex and Tineye, but as BeatrixPothead said, Tineye isn't really very good.

 

Some years ago. on a medical site that has now shut down, I chatted for a while over about a year to a female doctor. For some strange reason, perhaps realising that I was not interested in online flirting, she sent me a PM admitting that she was male. It left me quite puzzled.

Quite recently, a friend of ours who is quite savvy on the internet and has worked for Google, told me that on sites that could be used in this way, around 95% of people posting as female are closet gay males who take on the female role in their fantasies.
He also mentioned that in order to avoid the trolls and pests, quite a few women who are not interested in anything more than chatting online use a male profile.

We certainly live in a strange world today.

Wow, i did not realize how much this happens, very interesting seeing the lengths people will go through to fool people

 

And to think my friends and family have been wondering why I don't bother with the whole dating/romance thing....
