As much as I can't stand Family Guy, I love American Dad. It's one of the funniest shows on TV (the funniest is it's always sunny in Philadelphia), although I hate it when it gets too Family Guy-esque.
Why don't people like Family Guy? If you don't think its funny then smoke a bunch of weed, enough to get your mind torn out of your skull and watch a few episodes... Then let a new era of comedy begin.
haha yeah i love both southpark and family guy for what the both offer as AMAZING cartoons...there humor is different to me.
You know you remember that episode... I prefer The Simpsons over the others. Although I do like Family Guy, The Simpsons is much funnier, and more original. I don't think American Dad deserves to be mentioned.
I don't understand how Family Guy is a rip-off of the Simpsons, considering the style and tone is much different from the Simpsons. In any case, both shows are awesome.
Indeed, a few people decided to think it was too much like the Simpsons and a lot of others jumped on that bandwagon. Btw, Seth MacFarlane and Matt Groening are friends. Why would Seth copy from his own friends' show?
Family Guy isn't like The Simpsons. The humor is much more edgy and in your face. And it's actually funny. The Simpsons was funny before they did everything ever.
Best. Show. Ever. Me and my sisters boyfriend are obsessed. We constantly quote lines from it just to piss off my sister. Even though she likes it too, we get annoyed. Current word always said:: "ROADHOUSE!" haha Another favorite:: "Cool wHip!" bahaha.
The target demographic of the Simpsons is Americans. Nothing more specific than that. They throw plenty of humor in for the kids but there's also a lot of stuff that only the adults will understand or find humorous. And yes, despite some pretty bad jokes here and there, the Simpsons is far better than Family guy.
Super funny show. I try to watch it like every night. Simpsons is more so for families though. I don't think I'll ever let my son watch Family Guy. He's just to young.
