i just dont understand how some people can let themselves get that big. seriously do you not own a mirror? how do fat people have sex?
Yea but the fat ppl in question have to work harder to get places and do daily things so they somtimes sweat more
let them be fat... how can one 'hate' fat people, yet believe that marijuana should be legal? should we make food illegal for fat people? i'm not fat at all by the way, so thats not why i think that
Considering how expensive cigarettes are and the fact we can't smoke in bars anymore because of over blown second hand smoke reports and people not wanting to go home smelling like smoke, maybe we should. Obesity costs the US healthcare system more then the tobacco does now, so next time you see a fat guy eating a hamburg at a diner, light one up, buddy if you're gonna ruin my view I'm gonna ruin your air.
once in some thread here, I was told by some peckerwood that I would be healthier/look better if I lost ten pounds, because I said that I don't mind my belly not being completely flat.
diets have changed alot in the past 40 years and plus people don't care as much any more. to us, people that seem skinny, alot of older people consider fat. i'll be out somewhere with my dad (he's 57 and went to woodstock) and i'll see a girl that i think is cute and i'll be checking her out..then my dad will be like "eh..she's fat" i'm like "how is she fat?" and he's like "look at her...she's a tub" the girl won't even be fat she'll look skinny to me...maybe a slight belly but i like girls like that. my dad's so used to the way girls used to look back in the day. he was showing me pictures of him in florida with his friends in the 70's and they were with some girls. he was like "i miss when girls used to all look like that" lol then another time i was at six flags with some family and my uncle, who's 62, was looking at all the girls walking by and he was like "i've never seen so many fat girls in my life...they're getting fatter as the years go by." i guess it's true though. i think everythings getting out of control. when the world ends it will be covered by a bunch of gay, fat people. (not implying that fat people are gay but it also seems that more and more people are becoming gay as the years go by as well. i'm in high school right now and alot of dudes seem to think it's a fashion statement. there was one kid wearing high heels today.)
hatred of heavy people is something i'm definitely not down with.... however, i can understand having anger towards parents of obese children. living in a city like atlanta, i see morbidly obese people daily. the saddest part? it's usually the low-income/homeless folks who can only afford cheap, unhealthy food that's full of hormones and chemicals.
^ It's generally harder though, the cheaper stuff gets the worse for you it normally gets. Also if you're poor there's probably less actual food to eat in the house even if it is worse for you
i wouldn't be to sure about that. since we're talking about children, they'd be in school. most schools offer free lunch to anyone that's under a certain income. the low income kids at my school pig out during lunch. someone could easily eat a days worth of calories in one lunch sitting, so at least around here there's no real shortage of food.
I use to get free lunch too, but generally you only get the one meal which by the time you're in high school is really not enough. It's bullshit too, all through high school, if say the normal hot meal of the day cost like $2.75 or whatever, I never got that, most days I just got french fries which were only like $1.50 or a sandwich or one of the special things they were making which were generally $1-2, but any of those would in their theory cost the same as the full hot meal. I mean I don't care, I always had money to buy real food anyways, but for people that really really need that, ugh, especially on Fridays, our school district every school for every grade had pizza and fried dough, seems like a good idea, until you tasted it God I miss high school lunch, the french fries our school made were fan-fucking-tastic, and you got heaping pile for $1.50
we have an average sized meal, but you also basically get an unlimited amount of sides. like theres a mini salad bar and two types of fruit out, one fresh and one canned, every day. theres also some steamed veggies as well. it can easily fill you up
We didn't have a "salad bar" but we did have salads with a bunch of stuff in them that came in containers, but again, you could only get that 1 box of it and that counted as the lunch, and the salad was only $1.75 if i recall correctly
