    I'm pretty sure they are.. or maybe they just can't refuse treatment, not the type of treatment.

    The only things hospital's are REQUIRED to do, is if it is life threatening.

    Like if i'm in a car accident, I fly through the glass, and am about to die, they can't send me home, they have to fix me...They'll bill me for $$$$$$$ later but they can't LET me die.

    But as far as anything else goes, they have absolutely NO obligation to you whatsoever.
