I just saw a documentary about the A-Busch plant, and those bozos were trying to say they used rice because it made beer taste better. They do it to churn out more of their shit in less time. Lying fucks!

I drink mostly bass as of right now.....

but I usually stick with these, but I do venture out and try other things.....

    bass
    newcastle
    sierra nevada
    fat tire
    pabst blue ribbon
    samuel smiths
    youngs chocolate stout
    red stripe
    grolsch

other times if I feel like spending money on good quality beer, Id spend it on any unibroue product like la fin du monde.....

newcastle is the best for sure!
gearys - been drinkin a lot of that lately
    shipyard
    longtrail
seadog blueberry ale. don't usually like the flavored ales but this is just subtle enough!
anchor steam (or something like that, expensive at $10 a 6 pack but worth it)
    sierra nevada
killians (at about $5 for a 6 pack, its quality beer for cheap, never mind the PBR!)
I had dogfish once and it was good.

I usually buy Budweiser, Bud Selects, Michelob, or Bud Light, ... Nothing fancy for me lol.

Though I'm not picky. As long as it's not Busch, Old Mill-funky, or Millfunky's Worst...... I'm good. I'm not too much on dark beer either, but some of 'em are ok.

haha yes. I think all beer drinkers have had that phase, the PBR phase. I know I did. Where I live, I can get a 6 pack, each bottle at 16 ounces (or 1 pint), for $4.19. But now I pay a little extra (even when broke) and get the killians irish red for about $5. less beer, at 12 ounces a bottle, but I think the ABV is high enough to make up for the difference in quanity of beer. but that is when I am penny pinching and desperate. usually spend a little extra and get a local ale.

You see... alot of my friends drink Killians, but I just can't get into it. It tastes like American horse piss beer attempting to be dark.

yah I know what you mean. but when you have just paid rent/bills/travelled and have pennys to your name, you need to decide between horse piss 1 and horse piss 2, aka killians or pbr. I like killians a little better than pbr.

    Haha, makes sense.

I usually just buy PBR in 30 packs, that way I can share with the housemates and just have some fun.

thats chill. I wish my recent roomie was like that. i remember I took two shots of his JD that he had been keeping in the freezer untouched for a month and he was up in arms about that..not the sharing person he made himself out to be.

Lake Superior Kayak Kolsh is my fav ,which happens to be brewed locally, but I generally usually get Coors (cans) because like a couple others my funds are generally low.

Geary's beer is made in Maine. I love their 'Hampshire Ale'.

I know of "Shipyard" but Geary's is new to me. Beer is my new forbidden fruit since migraines have made themselves a part of my daily life so it's all moot at this point.

When we we kids, our favorite dirt cheap beer was Meister Brau. $1.85/6 pack. I always thought it meant "Mr. Beer". How cool is that?
