i know but i'm used to the oven method. i need to think outside the box. the lamp method seems to work swell. i will try that next time, i get a plant going good. what was wrong with the soil that it was strong smelling? was it hydroponic and you were growing it with battery acid or something?
Nah, ... it was a new method I was trying out. I was trying to grow them organic, with partial soil, partial sand, and passively feed the water back to the plant, but I went a little too heavy on the potash and the smell was overpowering without a vent. But, once it stays out of the 40s, as far as temperatures go, I'll be comfortable with the temps enough to have a vent.
yeah, potash can become really overwhelming. i had a friend who just recently moved to amsterdam D), lol. and he had really weak smell receptors in his nose. and he was growing all pot all over his house. and he did what you did, sort of, except he didn't use anything organic. but since he couldn't smell real well, he didn;t notice that the smell was THAT bad. and i walked into his home one day, and as soon as i opened the door the smell of it had hit me in the face like a brick wall. i couldn't even go inside of his house, it was that bad. but everyone else i know, is pretty good about stabilizing their plants. but my friend josh, whooooo, i don't know how he lived in that enviornment, lol.
yeah, I always wonder about things like that.. like if people start to lose their sense of taste or smell or if everyone's taste or smell is at different levels and nobody really knows.
it's got to be the same as your hearing and vision. so, yeah it seems to me that it would make sense. i'm sure we're all on seperate levels from each other. in one way, form or another.
Yeah, it could be just that people like different sounds and scents/tastes, etc. from another, but I think peoples perspectives correlate moreso with their personalities, though I feel or think that sometimes different people do hear louder or more vividly. Or people can lean towards seeing sound and hearing color... which is how alot of autistic savants are.
since i have used acid A LOT and i mean, a lot. i've always told people that i'm in a permatrip, sort of. like all my colours are pretty vivid, depending on the lighting and surrounding. and i see sound, sort of, it's like circuluar ripples and the float up and down and all around. and a lot of bright colors strain my eyes now.
looking back, i think i was too. now that i've recalled some of the weird things in my childhood that i remember. i remember once, i hallucinated pink bubbles coming out from underneath my bed and i was scared bc i didn't want to run through them to go get in mom's bed bc i was scared of them, i was like five. and then i used to read the minnie mouse books when i was little, and my mom told me that i used to hallucinate minnie mouse all the time. crazy shit, huh?
haha, maybe he/she is... lol. what do you mean by smoking freedom? i don't see how that would help the world.

I love resurrecting old threads! I get the buy-one-get-one-free brands. Only menthols. But I prefer Newports, Marlboro Smooths & Camel Frosts.
i usually smoke Golden Virginia roll-ups, but every now and then i'm partial to a Benson & Hedges Gold, a Marlboro Red or a JPS menthol superkings.
