Hamma melons….uncommon but the best melon on this planet

 

Mango. Or perhaps it's a true toss up between that and the humble apple. I actually love having at least one a day. ^^

 

Cantaloupe

 

It's gotta be Mangoes! Nothing else gives my taste buds and body such an instant rush. Especially when high. And they have so much variety of flavor. Some are tart, most are sweet. Some are strong flavored, others more delicate.

You can taste pineapple, orange, cantelope, even papaya notes in mangoes.

Smoothies/lassi, juices, curries, chutney, on fish, chicken, ice cream or just on their own, always adds a great flavor and nutrition.

Right now it's full on mango season here with so many varieties on offer. Guess what my kitchen smells like right now...

Apricots

 

Chile peppers, avocados, and tomatoes. Yes, they're technically fruits, in the botanical classification.

I can't stand most fruit--berries, melons, peaches, whatever. I can tolerate apples a bit unless they're cooked. The aversion most picky eaters have towards vegetables, I have toward fruit. Something about the texture triggers my gag reflex. Don't know why

 

Some fruits seem to have more sugar in them than candy. Like blueberries and strawberries.
