A friend played me his new CD...it's pretty awesome. I need to get my hands on it.

 

i really like his live stuff, i can't remember the title of my favorite song..however i don't really like the new album.

i like, mud football, bubbletoes, practically the entire on and on album, especially holes to heaven, taylor, rodeo clowns, cupid, cookie jar, the horizon has been defated...haha i'm gonna name all of them, and on the new cd i like gone going especially, and i also like the remix with black eyed peas that song is the shit, basically all of jack johnson is tight, but i like his 2nd two albums more than the first

 

My fav is actually a live cover-combo he did of Marley's 'hit me with the music' and Sublime's 'garden grove' I downloaded it a couple months back and can't get it out of my head!

runners up would have to be 'rodeo clowns' and 'sitting waiting wishing'

it certainly grows on you much slower than on and on, but the more i listened the more i liked it.

its interesting that everytime a new album comes out its never as good as past ones

Was Jack Johnson in a band? I am not familiar with him, but maybe if he was in a band I know I would be.

 

No, he's only been a solo artist. He started as a surfer and then he went on to film surfing movies. He's done a lot of compilations with various artists; Ben Harper, G. Love, Zach Gill, and many others.
