    Damn- I think I kind of remember that. The music sounds very familiar.That announcer’s voice....heard it all the time in those tv shows-hahaa!

    The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Mysteries. That music always creeped me out

    I always liked Stacy Keach, too bad the series bombed.

    Since you happen to mention Hank Simms who did the majority of the Quinn Martin Productions intros like Cannon, Barnaby Jones, The Street of San Francisco.
    Stacy Keach also had a great voice, and used it successfully doing commercials and some voice narrations on my favorite TV show PBS NOVA

    PBS television was so boooring as a kid, accept whenever Sesame Street, Zoom, and Electric Company would come on

    Can’t really say the same because even as a little kid I loved watching Crockett’s Victory Garden, The French Chef with Julia Child, and This Old House, in addition of course to ZOOM, all produced at WGBH studios in Boston
