My favorite is Dark Side of the Moon but The Wall is not far behind. As for songs, too many to name but Time, Us and Them and Confrontably Numb are really up there.
I love fearless which isn't popular at all, breathe is a great song with an amazing meaning. Comfortably Numb is definitely the best guitar song they made though. All in all I dig every song by them haha
Echoes is my all time fav song so I'd have to say Meddle is my fav album. Set the controls to the heart of the Sun, would prolly be my second.
This is another one of my favorite albums. It's Dark Side of Moon, reggae style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6mzAGRY7uo"]Easy Star All-Stars - Time - YouTube
1) It was the most commercially wimpy album by Floyd; 2) Syd would NEVER have done a song like Another brick in the wall; 3) A band like PF should have left the disco crap they put on that album for the wimpy boy bands that came after them; 4) I'm not saying that they should have been stuck in the psychedelic 60s, BUT, bands like Hawkwind never wimped out with blatant disco crap in the albums to come. .......want more? Let me know!!!:afro::afro::afro:
One song has some slight disco influences because of the bass line and beat, but it's hardly outright disco.
I know, it really shows their versatility as a band though. With songs that sound different from the usual. I always used to play Atom Heart Mother when I'd get up and do my weekend morning routine. Later I'd play Animals or if guests were over Dark Side or Wish you were here. Relics was my cruising Floyd album.
