I know just messing around I actually had sunburn a few years ago when I fell asleep on the beach and the UV index was 10 Hotwater
Move to England -_- To be fair, it has been sunny here recently. I tend to avoid the sun. That's all I got.
I have avoided the sun this year, but when I used to get sunburns.....ice cold bath is good for first line of action.....then aloe vera, like suggested......I like vinegar, too....:2thumbsup:
I got burned on my shoulders really badly twice already this summer, even wearing sunscreen both times. (pregnant women burn easier)....anyways, I use real aloe vera and it helps. Real aloe and just staying out of the sun for a day or two as much as I can.
I think the best thing you can do is drink lots of water or maybe even electrolyte replacement drinks if the burn is really bad.
Its nowhere close to that type of burn. But I had to so it was something you got used to quick and actually not too bad and works when you get used to it. But I would use a spray at night and back in it in the morning so to me it was nothing. To each their own, Some can tolerate the sun, Some cant. I have also had heat stroke, But only a couple times. Its all in how you manage body chemistry and heat/fluid loss. But, Not really relevant with the thread title, I hope you found something that worked!
I burn in a minute outside. I wear a lot of sunscreen and UV sleeves and gloves when driving in summer. I've seen older guys and their arms and yeah no thanks, fuck that for a joke. I've decided I want to have decent looking skin when I age.
umm, normally you get a tan, then if you spend more time in the sun you turn the tan into a burn, not the other way around... once you have a burn, more sun will just increase the burn, then all your skin will peel off and you'll be back to square one, except with more freckles. anyway, the only effective sunburn remedy i know of is time. drinking water helps, lotion helps, aloe helps. but no matter what you do, it's going to hurt for a while, and if it's bad enough it's going to peel eventually. then enough time will pass and everything will turn to tan, and then you will be better equipped to go back out into the sun.
Vinegar & honey....Salad dressing .....growing up on the beaches of the South (lifeguard, beachcombing, etc.) and being fair skinned Mom used vinegar applied with for some reason brown paper from grocery bags as did most of the mothers in the area.
