Batman. I love how he has no actual supernatural powers to speak of, he's just a bad-ass who brings down crime by kicking butt and taking names. I also love the 60's tv series, even though it's very silly and camp! As for which superhero I'd be, that would be Rogue from X-Men.
Ultimate Spider-man. I don't really like the original (616/Amazing) Spider-man because he doesn't seem to have much personality anymore. Ultimate Spider-man was my homeboy before they killed off Peter and switched him with Miles... That kid is way too young to be a superhero (thirteen? Really!?) and he just seems dazed and confused half the time.
Thor. I found a connection with him when I was young because my family is from Norway. I learned about him from reading, not just from comic books. I've never seen any movies about him, and I'm not sure I care to. There was an episode of The Incredible Hulk with Lou Ferrigno where Thor and Hulk beat on each other for a while until they gained respect for each other. I thought that was pretty cool. Also, I would take Her as my Wife: ^This is also from when I was a boy. I fell in love with her because of her wings. But check it out, she has a hammer too (or is it a mace -whatever). What a coincidence, lol. What's more, I became a sheetmetal worker when I grew up, so now I bang on shit with a hammer all day. I'd call that a major coincidence..
Thor is a good one, and yeah stay away from those movies, they kill the character. Thor isn't from Norway though haha, although he is kind of like a Viking.
I like The Batman. He's just a crazy guy who goes nuts after his parents die and starts beating up a bunch of criminals dressed up like a bat. I also like the Hulk, because I also feel like I'm a monster of rage pretending to be human. And Squirrel Girl.
I agree, the villains in these superhero stories are often more intriguing! I still don't see why the Joker's so cool though.. I prefer Loki in any case! Anyway this may sound like I'm nitpicking but he's originally not from Scandinavia but got there via the germanic tribes. A lot of scandinavian mythology is based on germanic mythology. The germanic people in scandinavia called him Thor and those in the area of the netherlands and Germany called him Donar. Hahaha yes, that's exactly what he is! I can watch Batman movies solely because I look it through this perspective as well :2thumbsup:
