i wouldnt argue with those numbers. actually there is a stat in baseball that they started using recently that takes luck into account. its something about balls hit in play that arent caught. its not perfect but it does let you predict a players future performance over the long haul

i'd probably say the same thing about there though.
i really don't think the things i care about have that much to do with what country they're in.
how people treat each other is important, but that's culture, not place or government.

Bacon & motorcycles... Merica'

 

I've actually heard American bacon is pretty pathetic compared to other countries

 

I like the highway system....and the quality of the surface

its amazing night and day difference from Canada roads...it appears that america actually planned out their main highways instead like here where they just sort of followed old trails willy nilly

 

canadian bacon is basically just ham.

 

its been a mostly ok place to live most of my life and the only place i have.
but my favorite things, just don't have very much to do with america as a country,
or any country.

 

i never understood why americans call it that

we call it backbacon or peameal bacon...its just a cured pork loin ..we dont ever call it ham either ..ham is generally smoked unless its the lunchmeat surprise variety (which is usually just boiled in tin forms)

what we call bacon is the same as yours...cut from a smoked slab of cured belly meat

 

One thing that I like about America and for some reason the rest of the world seems to forget......

America and American culture are the product of the melding together of all cultures and peoples from around the globe.
That comes with both enormous benefits and has its drawbacks as well.
If folks in other countries don't like, well it is the result of your immigrants, so........


and wtf is with Canadians commenting all snarky and shit, America and Canada are essentially the same, although we did quit kissing the Queens ass a century before you guys and most differences stem from that, Canada adopted a lot from mother England.
