Favorite Things About Fall

Well I wouldn't actually do that.

I'd just stash the razors somewhere and eat the apples myself or let them rot in my fridge.

 

i'm pretty sure everything about fall is a win. except its proximity to winter.

 

I like fall moods... very melancholy. I just like the overall feel of fall. It's probably my favorite season. I love it when the leaves turn color, too.

 

the color of the sky. There is nothing prettier than the blue sky in September and October when the humidity here finally breaks and the annoying summer haze goes away.

speaking of which, no more fucking humidity.

fires, both inside and out. (although its really too warm to burn a fire inside here until around December).

the smells

the fact that teenagers are back in school and you don't have to deal with them being out, driving all recklessly and being obnoxious during the day.

falling leaves. I like my trees naked!

My birthday. I don't really care much for fall. I never quite have been good at letting go of summer, no matter how much I bitch about the heat.

 

The heat in the summer where I live is unbearable, and the average fall temp here is probably like 65 - 75. So that's where my raging hard on comes from.

 

fall is packed with pheromones. it's just biology really.

seems simple to leave job, family, friends, house/apartment in order to have comfortable temperatures from may-october instead of april-june and september-november.

 

some people would find unbearable heat in the summertime lovely?

I don't think so. But bitching about the heat is part of the charm of living here. Our overheated bitchiness bonds us and I don't have to waste my time shoveling snow this winter so I think I'm good here.

I absolutely, Absolutely Love Fall! It's my favorite.

 

The fact that it means the end of my most hated season of the year (Summer), the leaves falling from the trees, and just the overall vibe of the season, I really like. Also, with the onset of colder weather, and the end of the long school holidays, there's not so many people hanging about outside, which living where I do, is such a relief! Shame it's the shortest season of the year though...

 

I love the smell of the crisp clean air. The weather is so much nicer to go out & do things , in my opinion. I love it. It's my favorite time of the year

Well with temps in the upper 30s and low 40 forties this morning I can’t exactly call it the death of summer and the birth of autumn but the baby is definitely kicking
