Aw crap and I really had my heart set on some good old American Apple Pie too. Please strike my comments on not liking the German accent.

Hahaha, I pronounce things correctly, too, and I've had people ask me where on earth I am from. The farthest I've ever lived from where I live now is 12 miles away, lol. But sometimes I pronounce things with an Iowan accent because I spent a good chunk of time in high school with a girl from Iowa.

My personal favourite is Irish. I can listen to someone with an Irish accent talk all day long. I used to love Australian accents on guys, thought it was "aaawww sooo hawwwt!!!" when I lived in NZ, but now I live here I pretty much speak like an Australian, so the novelty has worn off. Now I love NZ accents on dudes haha.

I don't think I have a least favourite. Some people have an annoying voice, but I think it's the voice and not the accent.

gee-chee and cajun tie for #1.

    cowboy (mid-western sorta?) for #2.

But I like to hear clear enunciation (after I get used to an accent)...can't deal with mumblers. :p

Me too ^. Only I lived on the other side of the state for a period of time...still southern accents.

According to how "backwards" the person (is)was...they sometimes accused me of being a YANKEE. gasp!

I remember as a child (and occasionally as an adult) I just try to speak clearly but that BOTHERS some people.; but, honestly - according to whom I'm dealing with, sometimes, I just have to dumb it down. It is just best (simplest) for all involved. ;) I also hate admitting that - even to myself, but it's true.

Lynn you'll get this...I pronounce the T in ClinTon and FounTain Inn and people look at me like I'm from the other side of the universe haha.

I don't really have an accent. Sometimes words with an "a" in it will slip out all southern and twangy, and sometimes I pronounce words with an "o" like I'm straight from New York.

Lol only when referring to the small town of Clinton in my state. People here have no problem pronouncing the ex presidents name, but when referring to the geographic location it comes out "clen-un." Lol
