    Country Joe & the Fish, Canned Heat, Blue Cheer, The Who, The Byrds, The Fugs, Mason Proffit, Buffy St. Marie, Judy Collins, Vanilla Fudge, Zombies, Its A Beautiful Day, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Moby Grape, Indian Puddin & Pipe, Mothers of Invention, Simon & Garfunkel, The Kinks, Arlo Guthrie, Pink Floyd (trying not to repeat too many of the previously mentioned favorites bands from the others lists lol)

    I like the Yardbirds, Mountain (formed right at the end of the sixties), Led Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix, The Kinks, the Beatles, and some of the doors, but I found Jim Morrison's voice really annoying on a lot of the LA Woman album.

    The best time for Chicago was definitely the late 1960's when they formed, if you ask me.

    I also love The Beatles. And I just heard a song by The Doors and I think I'm going to have no trouble getting into them either.
