    I think Noel Redding is one of the most under-rated bass players ever.. I don't think The Jimi Hendrix Experience would have been as good without him, just as they wouldn't have been as good without Jimi or Mitch. If you can manage to distract yourselves from the other-worldly guitar on 'All Along The Watchtower' (which is a really hard thing to do), you'll notice some equally awesome bass work.
