Tomatoes love that first bacon lettuce tomato sandwich, then have to wait awhile for the sweetcorn.

I have so many favorites! But they are all edible... top is maybe Basil? Although I may have some new favorites this year after making use of the two raised garden beds we constructed last fall. Filled with soil, compost from the organic pile I have been creating over the last year, and amendments (Happy Frog). I noticed many worms in the compost as I was shoveling it in. I will add another layer of compost this spring before planting, and dig it in a bit before setting the baby starts into place.

My Preference is Cacti and succulents. You do not have to hire someone to water when you go on vacation. They bloom at various times. I have a alo-vera plant for 25 years, and it is blooming for the first time in the middle of January.

    railroad vine at DuckDuckGo

I guess it has to be vines. Lately its been this Railroad vine or Ipomoea pes-caprae.

I brought a little piece home last summer it rooted real quick and really took off. Few inches a day you can almost watch it grow.
