I like acrylic on cotton duck canvas. I also LOVE corel PAINTER.. it's the best program I have tried. I am not a good painter by any means, and being as I am too poor to buy any more paint, I am letting my youngest dabble. Here is the one full size painting I have done (very juvenile, but I've never had an art class): I also use various digital applications to make computer backgrounds and avatars and signatures, I made my current signature a while ago. Here is a link to my newest background. I used Photoshop CS2 on it, it was my first attempt. I will also show you my fav banner I have made, I made it using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 and also PhotoImpact 8(my fav editor by far). PSP CS2: My favorite I have made yet, using screen caps from the Evanescence DVD "Anywhere But Home", during the performance of Korn's "Thoughtless" and using Paintshop Pro 8 and PhotoImpact 8: deb
My absolute favorite medium is fabric. But I also use charcoal and regular pencil a lot when drawing. I am just now getting into painting, with acrylics and oils on canvas.
Imm an getting in to painting... with any kinda of paints very fun for me and i know what i am doing..never had to be taught comes from my heart .. thats my best art
clay, charcoal, and paint and fingers on canvas... i painted some bottles like that, i found the depth and smoothness of it to be quite satisfying
it depends on what kind of art I feel like creating at the moment, but my favorite thing to work with has to be pastels [not oil pastels, but the chalky pastels]... For painting, I prefer oil paints, and I love to draw with charcoal. The only thing I really despise working with is ink pen; I suppose if I practiced with it more, I would enjoy it, but for the moment I'm extremely terrible with ink pen
