Yeah, all signs still point to stupidity for me. Have you read his interviews? He cant even express a coherent thought.

I just dont think it takes an exceptional intelligence to make a real estate deal, and he was born into his wealth and career anyways, its not like he was a self starter.

He IS shrewd, I'll give him that.

his supporters still love him because they LIKE the fact that he isnt an intellectual

Sure but can you really call a spoiled rich kid from NY a street survivor?

Either way he definitely doesn't possess the intelligence, as well as the focus, reserve, and emotional resilience needed to do the job of the president of the US and judging from recent interviews he knows it

Sessions was fired for using government funds for private gains. The allegations were started by Bush.

David Ross, Obama's first Mid East adviser left due to policy issues in 2011. I don't know who else you are referring to, or the incident, source please.

Israel reported that representatives of Obama met with top Israelis and Iranians to talk about nuclear proliferation and Arab/Israeli conflicts before his election.
Trump's representatives met with Russian officials before his election, the meetings are not in and of themselves wrong, it's the failure to report them when being considered for high level posts and the content of what was discussed at the meetings and the that that the Russians interfered with our election on Trump's side.

I see where you're going, but it's a dead end.

Name one Democrat who called for Comey to be fired. True, one or two suggested he resign and many thought he had screwed up the Hillary thing, but no one called for him to be fired.
The Democrats weren't upset at Comey for the investigation of Clinton or how he conducted it, they never called for him to be fired to end the Clinton investigation. They were upset by the way he went public with certain aspects of the investigation and his timing.
Trump stated he fired Comey because of the Russian investigation..big difference.

How do you know it had no impact?

That's what the investigations are for. There are allegations, there is evidence of strange things going on. There is no proof as yet that we know of. That doesn't mean there isn't proof that we don't know of or that won't be found at some later date.

If man is murdered in your house an allegation may be made that you were involved, there my be certain evidence that you were involved.
So an investigation into your participation may be instigated to see if the allegations can be proved by the evidence presented.

    The rules haven't changed.
Trump did nothing legally wrong in firing Comey, unless it can be proved that he was attempting to obstruct the investigation of the Russian thing.

If that is true, he has a problem.

Trump has no moral bounds, so he will use the presidential powers legally, but not necessarily morally or with the intention of exercising justice for all. He will push the laws to their max to get his way. If he slips up in riding the edges of legality he's in trouble...but only if the Republicans call him on it.
Congress and the courts are what keep the president under the rule of law, so far the Republican controlled Congress doesn't seem to care what Trump does. So unless they object he can break as many laws as he wants and only the court system can then reign him in.

But he will soon own the Supreme Court...so that's that.

Trump wasn't under investigation by Comey, either. Dianne Feistein and Chuck Grassley both spoke before a committee meeting last Thursday and admitted they'd been briefed by the FBI that Trump is not under investigation.

The FBI investigation revolves around whether or not Russia tried to influence the election, not whether or not Trump colluded with the Russians. I suspect you already know that.

And no, there's no veiled admission of guilt. I'm pointing out the HYPOCRISY of the left's arguments. The President can fire the FBI director plain and simple. It's what the left wanted, it's what the left got. As for the Logan Act, if you researched it you'd know it's an obscure law that gets ignored because it's seen as an impediment to diplomacy. We can go back even further and look at Ted Kennedy's secret talks with the Soviet Union, so is it really an argument the left wants to make?

All this hysteria is based on nothing more than mysterious "confidential sources" without anybody showing any proof. That's some hard hitting journalism right there. Many on the left fell for the report claiming Trump paid prostitutes to urinate on a bed Obama slept on which turned out to be bogus, so maybe it's time to actually demand proof before everybody loses their minds over unproven rumors.

The Dem party started back-pedaling on the collusion accusations the minute the special prosecutor was appointed. Pelosi, Feinstein, and even Schumer made statements last week about there being no evidence. And yesterday it was reported the FBI has proof Seth Rich was in contact with Wikileaks, so if true (and I'm not claiming it is because I haven't seen any proof) the collusion you seek may lead right back to the Democrat Party.

I'm not a big fan of Trump. I wasn't a fan of Hillary either. This whole election was a massive shitshow. Let's let sanity prevail.

I was referring to Robert Malley (I misspoke, he was a foreign policy advisor specializing in the Middle East, not the "Middle East advisor") in regards to secret talks with Hamas, and it was William Miller who opened secret talks with Iran.

Malley was not officially in the Obama cabinet.
In 2014 he did join as Special Assistant to the President and White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf Region.

I assume you mean William G. Miller. The only reference I can find about secret meetings comes from Briebart news...do you have any other source or confirmation and any reports of the content of these meetings?

    The special consul:
Any individuals would include Trump if reason is found to go in that direction.

This post is turning more into "history" than "latest news".

Perhaps it should be moved to a different section, MeAgain.
