FDA Cracking Down on Labs In China

Are you in the UK and know something different? From what i've read Mephedrone has been made illegal today and they are giving a week's grace period to users to essentially use it how they want. After that all the penalities that apply to Class B drugs will apply to Mephedrone.

 

Well I figured every industrialized country had it's own version of the FDA, I just thought they would possibly have a different name and thus have a different acronym.

 

The FDA decides which ones are legal and not.

 

China does not have an FDA. They have an SFDA, as you posted a link to. That's State Food and Drug Administration. If they were referring to China's, I would think they would say SFDA.

At least that flags it as a food type of violation, so that it could be more easily unbanned in future. That way it doesn't hurt the user, but the dealer... what a lot of legalizers use as an argument.

So in a way, it's the ideal drug policy approach. Just not for those with a taste in obscure chemicals.

 

From things i've been hearing/reading about in the UK and a couple of other places it's not really that obscure of a chemical. The 4th most popular drug in the UK in 2009

 

Well it's quite obscure in the US, I haven't encountered ANYONE here who does ANY RC's, other than shitty legal bud JWH mixtures.

I've done a few RC's, nice to meet you. it is hurting the user because a) prices for me
cathinones have been jacked up now and b) a black market with unpure product will be created.

I think the ban and crackdown will stop many users. I enjoy methylone alot but I won't pay the same price for 1 gram as I used to for 2 grams. I would Choose pure methylone over adulterated ecstasy any day but now they are both unknown quality it makes me a bit more wary of it.

 

I wouldn't worry so much about quality, as long as you know your vendor. Sketchy vendors, yes, will probably cut their shit, but sketchy vendors always cut their shit. So basically nothing will change, just higher prices for the same quality that you had previous.

 

my particular vendor is not selling it anymore, and they are doing a kind of cool thing for vendors in this field as they say they refuse to sell nrg1. Their whole business was the cathinones basically, so I think they are going to break for awhile and who knows what they come back with.
