I believe in feminism, but I wouldnt say I am feminist per se as the movement can tend to get a little extreme... with my experieince anyways. The ideas brought forth by feminists are very true... and all women should make themselves aware of the issues so they can bring them to other's attention. It's unfortunate but men will still be the "stronger" sex in society's eyes. Men automatically have respect, where women often have to earn it. I dont think most ppl on the forums are feminist as you can tell by the "bitch slap" comments etc. and how everyone just laughs it off. It was up until fairly recently that woman were completely controlled by men, and we still feel the effects of it today.

NON FEMINIST. There are so many different definitions of feminist, however I think that most people who label themselve a feminist... have gone too far. Don't get me wrong, I beleive in equality between the sex's in all forms, it's just that constantly comparing the who and getting angry over tiny things such as a seat on the bus or a door being held at the mall ... it's just taking the whole "issue" too far.Plus.. i like woman...who are naked... and dancing around...yea....and stuff like that.

Who does that? Maybe it's in this thread. I have to work, no time to reread the whole thread. Real feminism isn't about silly shit. It's about civil rights.
