that is not much. I just learned that the risk for an infection with some nasty bacteria is about 10 to 20 percent if one gets bitten by a dog. The risk rises to 45 to 55 percent if bitten by another human. And then there is hepatitis, HIV and other virus infections.

What Luis has been found guilty of was pretty bizarre and stupid. But it didn't do any substantial harm. Its pretty hard to bite thro a shirt into someone's heavily muscled shoulder.

FIFA should also look at lots of stuff including career ending "accidentally on purpose" tackles, headbutts, elbows etc. Which do far more harm.

I agree with you, it's really not sports behavior. Under no circumstances should a football player resort to biting wtf. Dude clearly has serious issues and problems with controling himself.
