I'm a bit shocked by Brazil. I mean, they just seemed "too bad" for it to be believable... almost.

Germany are known for centreforwards, hardworking defenders etc. But they aren't associated with the flair, the outrageous elegance of Brazil's old teams.

I wanted Brazil to win. But it was funny to see the prima donnas slaughtered yesterday. Now I'm just thinking "what does this mean for football?"
Will the fashion go from exciting attacking play with superstars. To scientific organised tactics and no stand out idols.

Hopefully Brazil will go back to being Brazil. Fun and exciting....
.. but with a proper defence.

All this should make the english very happy.
The 2 former enemies now lined up for the final, and england didn't make it even to round 2.

Glad I'm not a football fan.

Damn. I really wanted to play the Dutch for some reason, or see them do good but Argentina next on the block that's cool, always liked the Pumas.

Feel bad for the Dutch, I was sort of supporting them after watching the embarrassment of my home country (England) unceremoniously get knocked out, yesterday's Germany Brazil match was a laugh though.

I'm pretty sure the Germans are going to win it.

I hope so. I know we've won a title while I've been born in 1990 as West Germany but I don't remember any of that so this will be my official title if we get it hehe.

Yes, it was the most humiliating loss by any team in the history of world cup but get over it….sheesh.........

A teenager in eastern Nepal committed suicide after her favorite team Brazil lost badly to Germany in the World Cup semifinals, police said Thursday.

Police said the 10th grade student was depressed and hanged herself from the ceiling on Wednesday morning in Bharaul village located 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of the capital Katmandu.

The teenager was identified as Pragya Thapa. Her mother found her hanging from the ceiling in her room. She was living with her mother and grandparents while her father was abroad working.

Police said they were investigating and the body had been sent for autopsy.
Brazil lost 7-1 to Germany in the semifinal on Tuesday.
