Wear a fuzzy hat and rub your hair under it a lot, dreads like crazy and naturally!

Those winter toques. Perfect weather, too. And one big enough to fit all your dreadies underneath! :):troll:

How are you doing yours? I started mine with a flea comb near the scalp via back-combing and let nature do the rest, it took awhile, but it's a journey about patience as well.

I did the same. They look terribly frizzy right now, but i know if i just wait it'll be rewarding. :)
I think if I just let them be it'll work out.

I still have my top layer to go. Are they this frizzy in the beginning usually?

I wouldn't recommend that... You'll get totally different looking dreads, but if that's what you want. *shrug*

You can do what you please, but IMO, that's pretty dumb. If you're going to neglect, why would you "make" some? All the silly feelings associated with "making" your "locks", and all the frizz and time and randomness of neglect. You get the worst of locks, and the worst of "making" locks, together.... why?

ha, i decided against it, i was thinking about it because i wanted different looking dreads all over, but i can do that just by backcombing.
