Actually, I hate CSI spinoffs, it's just sopranos became so predictable and procedural, no, you don't know exactly what happened to tony there, but it doesn't matter. just like so many of the hijinks in the fdirst season don't matter, because the main character can't die in the first season.
The last season was a little like that, but I think you're getting worked up over a tiny flaw. If you want terrible screen writing, refer to Deep Space 9 or any star trek series. Even if you fap over the science aspect, the drama direction is B grade at best.
Star trek is childhood memories. All of star wars is utter shit, but people jizz buckets over it constantly. Star trek, though Voyager, TOS, ENT, and TNG all, pretty much sucked, dealt with deep issues (well, VOY and ent didn't, they didn't have anything except tits and ass) DS9 was, up through season five, very character driven, and had a LOT of potential, if it had been more consistent it could have been good. it's worst episodes are some of the worst in trek history (move along home) but it's best (inter arma silent leges) are Really quite good, and that one was even held back quite a bit.if sisko hadn't been forced into the kal-el type role of clean hands, god damn, we choulda had a show and the episodes where he was "brother benny" in the 1960's REALLY had potential.
