First DPT experiences this past weekend

apparently you can puke and drool and snot all over yourself on DPT and not notice/care

 

AFAIK DPT is a local anaesthetic so it shouldn't burn. it tastes disgusting and is definitely irritating to the nasal passage but it's not caustic.

it's hard to notice that your nose needs wiping when the universe is ending and you are being transmuted into a fractal composed of musical light

 

Ive read pretty much unanimously iv dpt burns like a bitch, have even read that occasionally with im injection but I've had no problems.

 

I did notice a little numbing sensation too, but my throat burned for about 15 minutes or longer I think. Next time I think I'll do 200 mg insufflated, and hope I get some killer visuals.

 

Unless your mind can't receive psychedelics, or your DPT is very degraded, 200mg of DPT is going to take you much, much, much further than "some killer visuals".

 

Touting it is as anasthetic is a bit misleading I think, even if it possesses those qualities to an extent. Even Ketamine, which is unquestionably a more efficient anasthetic can burn really bad upon insuffalation, Alcohol is another obvious example that burns bad upon ingestion.

Really tho, dpt is a pretty emotional experience for me, I feel sensations heightened like other psychedelics as opposed to dulled. there is a feeling of being 'under' I guess but it hasn't been as noticeable to me as say 5-me0 dmt (the infamous 5-me0 line is 'It felt like being sat on by an elephant') and I dont think its necessarily out of range to say it is much more under than a heavy shroom trip. I use the word veiled frequently when discussing dpt, this is a large part of what I'm referring to. It certainly is not a drug I would want to be medically operated on at any dose I've done LOL.

Perhaps its just my negative associations with the term anasthethic (Ketamine, alcohol, cocaine) that makes me want to distinguish dpt from that label in regards to recreational/spiritual use.

 

I don't think it is degraded, though it is possible. I did 118 mg dpt a couple weeks ago and it was fairly intense feeling, just not intense with the visuals. I don't get visuals very easily, 2c-e seems to give me the most out of the PEA's by far, and so far n,n-DMT out of the tryptamines. 50 mg smoked dmt gave stronger visuals by a good amount than 118 mg dpt insufflated. Is it the other way around for you?
