First time with a partner ... how did it go?

There was a "first time" for every new partner I have ever been with.

Some or those early first times were awkward, but in more recent years the first times come as natural as eating lunch with a friend. I need intimacy. He or she needs it. So we share it.

That's the upside of being old, understanding the principles of safe sex, and no longer being exclusively "owned" by just one person.

 

We ended up at my apartment watching some late night TV after a date. Her parents had gone out of town so her house was vacant. It was late and she didn't want to go home to an empty house. So I got her a blanket and tucked her in on the couch. I had offered to trade and let her use the bed and me on the sofa but no, she insisted. Once I saw that she was sleeping I retired to the bedroom.

I woke some hours later having to take a piss. When I stumbled back to the bed I noticed a lump on the floor opposite side of the bed. I didn't pay much attention to it while still in my sleepy daze as I fell back against the pillow and dozed off. When I woke again an hour or so later that lump was still there.
