I used to fish all the time when I was a kid but as I grew older I found it too slow and laidback – just not enough excitement [IMG]

Does getting drunk and yelling while watching bassmaster tournaments count?

I love cooking in general so cooking what you catch is a special delight. We caught 25 lbs worth of yellowtail snapper in that pic and it was DELICIOUS!:2thumbsup:

I love fishing. Usually surfcasting, though. I'm not die-hard enough to get on a boat for 12 hours to catch a few cod that just barely make the size limit. I've entered a few sea bass tournaments...one year, my father and I won the tournament and got a gift certificate for a local seafood restaurant...why I'd want that after catching a huge bass is beyond me, but we went and got lobster. It was fun!

I love going clamming, too...get some nice steamers and cherry stones...yummm! Last year I even got a ton of muscles, too...they made for a tasty pasta!

I've been fishing for over 50 years and have written pretty extensively about it. It's the best way I know to do nothing while appearing to do something.

It is legal to cook your own seafood y'know? depending on where/how you fish and how many you catch...
