Biking in a 15 mile loop beats the hell out of 15 miles without leaving the room.... About to bust out some pullups.
My exercise routine. Well, I walk everywhere. 8mi yesterday, 4.5 today, days not over. Start limbering up in the boat, go ashore and do more stretching exercises at the marina, then go a block over to an abandoned overgrown lot where I practice some of my martial calisthenics. That's about eight o'clock, then I go for my first walk, if I have no other errands I'll walk 2.5 to a place that makes good coffee. Walking is as much mental as physical therapy. I have a mesomorphic build and used to weightlift heavy, but now I try to keep it more natural. I've focused on the stretching and warmups so they are an exercise routine in themselves. My martial calisthenics are from kenpo and tiger kung fu which are both very dynamic. I play with hand weights and elastic bands sometime during the evening, plus hand grippers and a sack of chains I throw up in the air in horse stance to strengthen my fingers. That's all I'm doing now. I swam yesterday but that's not exercise that escaping this heat, whew!
You do that everyday? How long does that take? I did circuit training again tonight. My second class back since I got too busy a while back. I moved through it fairly well but last time and this time I've noticed that I have a headache right at the end of the class....like the last 4 or 5 minutes. Then it lasts for maybe 20-30 minutes after the class. I thought it was dehydration but I'm well hydrated. At least I feel like I am. I don't know. My nutrition is where is should be. Everything seems normal to me. I do go balls to the wall whenever possible and I pour sweat so it's probably still a hydration thing, right? I know I'm not pushing it too far. I was pushing it harder 3-4 months ago with the same nutrition, water, etc.
50 on the elliptical today walked 3 and a half miles this weekend with my cousin mostly up hill thought I was going to die but I didn't quit
did my workout didn't think I was going too do it this morning I woke up with a bad migraine tired smoked a little pot put some cold water on my face and powered threw my workout does wonders for me
I did indeed got far too less sleep. Took a bit of a toll on me (had to drive home with a real serious hangover). Especially because I didn't got to compensate sunday night. I slept for about 10 hours last night which was great but I still feel demolished.
I've just been doing my normal stuff every day. Weights on some days, circuit training and cardio on others. I need some new goals. I don't mind what I'm doing but I don't feel like I have something I'm working towards.
