I'd say....as far as trainers go....some are great and some aren't but it also depends on your knowledge, effort and ability. I had a longer post that I typed out and deleted but the gist is...it isn't your trainers problem. That person gets paid to deal with you while they are around you. It's a job for them. Most of the things that will make you successful happen when your trainer isn't there. That means it's kind of on you.
Fuck yeah, Candito is the man! You would never know based on looking at him (at least his upper body) that he could lift the amount he does. When it comes to the squat, this kid is king. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUTjQjXVPEw
Heavy upper body tonight. Did 10 sets of tripels on bench @ 210, along with 3 sets of 8 bent over rows, 6 sets of 5 standing shoulder press, 2 sets of 5 incline bench press, and 4 sets of 10 bicep curls. Had 2 1/2 lb burgers from DQ as my post-workout meal.
One of the reasons i havent been lifting much anymore was because my joints were pretty sore which i think i mentioned on here. I had soem blood work done and apparently I have minor rheumatoid arthritis. Looks like my heavy lifting days are over unless i can get it to go into remission through diet. Im also going to start using medical marijuana. Got my med recommendation a few days ago so i can just walk into any dispensary now.
From a workout viewpoint.....I hate Sundays because I feel like I'm just itching to get back to work tomorrow. But you need to have your down days. My schedule is a little light right now so I'm thinking of throwing in a couple of things.
That's Terrible......What Age Are You...???...I Didn't Develop Ostio Till I Was 67.....And So Far It's Only In My Shoulders. For Many Years I Was A "Lifter" And Now I'm Starting To Wonder Maybe This Is The Foundation Of The Prob. But Then Again, Up Until I Retired From The Farm I Used To Do Some Bloody Hard Work. I Wish You Well And Keep Us Up To Date...... Cheers Glen.
I am 25. It really only affects me when im using a computer or sleeping. ALso when im lifting it hinders me a tad bit but nothing to seriosu right now.
I Find Sleeping A Bitch....Can Only Sleep On My Left Shoulder If I Happen To Land On It In A Precise Spot...... Otherwise I Have To Move To My Right Shoulder Or Lay On My Back Which I Hate. Cheers Glen.
I just walked 16 kilometres today. It is not much for me at all. There had been a day I walked 27 kilometres.
I just recently decided to take my health by the balls and attempt to lose 40 pounds. I gained a lot of weight between unemployment and then getting a job that allows free pizza every day. I used to eat 2 or 3 slices a day, but now I'm down to maybe that a week on a bad week. I keep healthier snacks, rice cakes, apples, nuts in a bag up at work now and eat a lot more salads. The dieting thing was the easy thing for me, I haven't been exactly strict on it, just eating better and cutting WAY back on sweets and bready things. Anyway, that out of the way, I work on my feet 7 hours a day, 6 days a week, but I needed a little more to get things under control. Yesterday I started what I hope will be a regular routine and walked out to the lake by my house and back, which totaled 3 miles. Then I walked home from work today and picked up another 3 miles. I feel better than I have in months and I can definitely feel results already. I'm pretty impatient but I'm tired of feeling unattractive.
