Do you spend your day carrying the boats? I could hardly lift the tandem kayaks on my own a couple of weeks ago and I can manage now, so clearly something is working.
So basically by the power of your will, you can control your heart rate, your alpha waves rhythms, and many other supposedly uncontrollable functions of the human body Hotwater
My triceps are so fucking sore today, from carrying the baby several blocks yesterday. I didn't even think he was all that heavy at the time, but I guess the way I had my arms wrapped around him really had my triceps fired up. Anyways, I'm off to make love to a spin bike.
I did a 30 minute ab class at the gym this afternoon. It was my first time taking this particular class, and I enjoyed focusing solely on my core, which I rarely ever do. I didn't recognize the instructor, and I felt a bit bad about that after he said to me "I've noticed you around here a lot, and you're looking very lean". I've actually heard that a lot these past few weeks, so I guess the world is starting to notice my hard work. Anyway, I really need to blow of some steam today, so I'll be going back to the gym in a few hours for bootcamp.
Just had a decent Sunday upper body workout. Rarely do I work out on my Sundays off from work, but since I have gotten adequate sleep, I decided to give it a go since I skipped my upper body workout last night. I did drop sets on bench since I am cutting and don't have the strength I normally do. I kept my rows and overhead press heavy throughout all the sets.
Off to the gym later today. Not doing much, just a quick 500 Calorie burn cardio workout. Usually I take Sundays off, but this week I cheated on my diet... three times! Yikes!
Since Friday went so well, I thought I'd go for another "double" today. I've got a spin class scheduled for just after 12, and then I'll go back to the gym tonight for resistance training.
I pulled a glute muscle in bootcamp, and it's bad. I limped all the way home, holding back tears the whole way. What should have been a 7 - 8 minute walk took me over 25. What a fucking drag.
