    The dude on the news over the weekend, was shown to not look at the camera...but said, looking down that the burning was called off. period.
    Did someone/thing get to him? Could he possibly have realized this went against even the golden rule about doing unto others as you would have them do unto you?
    Whatever. It didn't happen.

    dope, I never knew true anger (I don't think), and never knew, down inside I was capable of a lot of things - until I had a child. I'm speaking right now of the anger that one can feel because of a child being or feeling threatened. It can be scary, let me tell you. :)
    I'm curious, do you have a child?

    That isn't counting the anger one could/would feel at physical harm come to one's blood and that person be innocent. Lord have mercy - for that man, or woman, around here. :)

    have mercy for the one doing any harming. They say catfish eat anything.... j/k :)

    Lynnbrown, after my daughter came into the world I was scared all the time. Everyday. Anger resulted often.

    I do, I have three adult children.
    I was present at each of their births and as they drew their first breath I gave a silent benediction of mercy. I have experienced nothing but peace of mind in circumspection regarding my children even though one of my daughters is surviving cancer. I have felt anger and ultimately known it to be, as is fear, based on mistaken identity.

    Ok, so burning a Quran pisses people off. Yippee.
    Burning the Holy Bible is "yadda yadda yadda".
    Would "this" offend you, and why?

    I'm far from a Bible thumper, but under certain circumstances I think there is a place for anger. Jesus expressed it and In Ecclesiastes the bible tells us there is"
    1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
    2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
    3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
    4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
    5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
    6 a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
    7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
    8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

    And yes - A time to be angry and a time to be at peace.

    Anger is the result of an unresolved fight, flight, or freeze response. Fight, flight, or freeze is appropriate response, anger is not. Anger is what wells up as the result of inappropriately dispensed, will.
    That situation that you have grown angry over requires some kind of response that you have not given, whether it be, fight, flight, or freeze.
    It is said be angry but do not let the sun set on your anger. There is no "justification" for anger and this awareness is ultimately the solution to, "crimes of passion". Anger's place is to get your attention.
