Second prediction- In the not too distant future all food will be packaged. The official reason for this will be that it is easier to regulate and maintain "quality" standards, stop the spread of airborne illnesses, as well as guarantee longer shelf lives. It will be manufactured somewhere and shipped out straight into plastic casings.
What about those new chips that will be in every product you buy, so you can just have your whole shopping cart scanned at once... How long until they start chipping people? And how will that work anyway...will travelers from other countries have to wear an anklet like a criminal? I'm just stirring up shit.
You imply they're not mandatory at my current place of employment. Schools and medical care facilities usually require them.
Glad you brought that up- Micro chips. Most every single animals one gets from the SPCA, pound, shelter, wherever, has a micro chip in them these days. Just in case some of you don't know why, it's so that they can track the animal should they happen to run away. Here's my prediction on how this will work with humans; Within the next 80 years, human beings will be implanted with chips when first born and still staying in the hospital. They'll probably first start out with a small, "test group." They'll state the reason as something along the lines of, "we're doing this for research purposes to determine how many moves, how far people in the late twenty-first/early twenty-second century move. In what climate they spent X amount of years of their lives." The parents of these children will of course be payed a handsome amount and most likely all of their children's medical bills will be covered by the government throughout their lives. It's likely that it will also be introduced on immigrants entering the country to determine where they settle, how long they stay, etc. Again the reason given will likely be, "it's statistical value." They will be doing this to our money within the next 20 years. What do you really think those "chips" on new credit cards are for? Quick usage? I don't think so. The government already has satellite equipment that can pick up on those chips on people's credit cards, which essentially works as a tracking device, as it can track where the owners of those cards are going, where they're shopping, etc.
That was ridiculous...the fact of the matter is H1N1 isn't as severe as type A and B flu and it effects the 18-24 age group the most, rather than the very young and the very old. So basically everyone was freaking out about a supposed pandemic of a less severe type of flu that effects the population with the strongest immune systems the most. Right..... The general population scares me sometimes. It really doesn't take much to educate yourself on certain matters. thats why i love you hipforumers, you guys are generally so much more well-informed than the general public yeah that shit is already beginning to happen with the Food Safety Modernization Act.
the essence of mankind is indefinite.. “What the god-sun speaketh is life. What the devil speaketh is death. But Abraxas speaketh that hallowed and accursed word which is life and death at the same time. Abraxas begetteth truth and lying, good and evil, light and darkness, in the same word and in the same act. Wherefore is Abraxas terrible. It is splendid as the lion in the instant he striketh down his victim. It is beautiful as a day in spring. It is the great Pan himself and also the small one. It is Priapos.” “It is holy begetting. It is love and love`s murder. It is the saint and his betrayer. It is the brightest light of day and the darkest night of madness. To look upon it, is blindness. To know it, is sickness. To worship it, is death. To fear it, is wisdom. To resist it not, is redemption.”
