Don't look for a quick fix diet from some dead man. Ketosis(burning only fats for energy) is a toxic state for your body to be in over a long period. Rather then eating only fats or only carbs you need to balance them. YOU NEED BOTH to achieve a biochemical state of homeostasis. The problem is not haveing a diet that meets your energy needs. If you sit behind a desk and your entertainment comes mostly from stationary activites(TV, computer, etc.) then you don't need to eat as much. The fats will slowly over time cause heart problems if you eat to many and the carbs will make your ass fat if you eat to many. Stop with which side is correct because they are both wrong. Just get off your ass, take a walk, excersice, do somthing and eat like a sensable human being.

Agreed. There was some research done some time ago that suggested that animals with a high carb diet are more athletic but do not have the stamina of animals that have a high fat diet.Talking from personal experience I have sometimes eaten a fatty breakfast with some toast and worked for hours such as 5.00am to 2.30pm only having swigs of water in between.

Ah but I do part time physical work and are largely self-sufficient at home that means being active e.g. edible gardening , renovation, car maintenance.
