I thought it was the 'Transportation system'! Sounds a bit awkward to me. I can't say I've ever heard it being referred to as that here. Yeah, 'travel' is the usual term used - outside the main cities (London etc) Perhaps more accurately, in relation to work, it would be 'commute'.
I dont spend ridiculously on anything nowadays. But at college and just after, I'd spend really OTT amounts on clothes(esp suits), sometimes on trips away. Then also on business expenses, like offices/stuff that I never really used. And a phase on ott tech equipment. Like about 6 computers at home and stuff.
Eating out. I love good food, but also eating out not so good food. What I spent the most money on is my daughter, clothes for her although she's 3 1/2, so she gets to wear them for longer than a couple months. Toys, activities for her. I'm taking her to Sesame Place this weekend, next weekend we're going to The Nutcracker. I try to focus more on the experiences than the things. I don't know if that's foolish.
