All the good festivals seem to be shutting down :( Theres still Electric Picnic and maybe Life festival, a few teknivals and some private festivals but I dont even know if Ill be in the country come Summer...I highly doubt it..

Dean has viral bronchitis from our first ACL and we got Swine Flu after bonnaroo, bad luck. So now we are just rollin backstage at ACL, but we're thinking about coachella. I've always wanted to check out the burn but I dunno if it's a possibility at this point what with his lung issues ):

so i just looked at the lineup for coachella and i sorta need to go. thom and jonsi at one festival. seriously.

if no-one i know is going i'm gonna have to hitch a ride there and either whore myself out so i have somewhere to sleep, or take enough drugs that i don't need to sleep. so. any of y'all wanna help me out with a lift or tent-share to prevent the beginning of my spiral into addiction and prostitution?

Hitching to festivals usually takes care of drugs and places to sleep :D always has done (bar one time) for me! One time me and a friend got a lift with two nackers in an old camper van who had a load of shit hash, nitrous and MDMA...that was a mad festy :D they were dodgy fuckers though  sound out though

yeah but you just never know when it's gonna go wrong. a friend of mine hitched a ride home from a rave with some knackers and a few minutes in realised the car was stolen. they took him on a joy ride, drove into a tree, called some more mates to pick them all up... and so on.. the night ended with my friend jumping out of a moving car and running for his life.

I have some friends that are going to Coachella and if I didn't have children or say... a mortgage, I'd likely try and go too.

So... for the SCI fans... Anyone score any tickets today? Horning sold out in 1 hour. We're aiming for Red Rocks and they are putting on some more tickets this Saturday. I really don't know if we can free up the time/find sitters/afford it... but I'm kinda thinking that we can't not. So we'll buy them on Sat and sell them if need be.

For anyone that lives in England Square festival is killer, it's on a beach in Wales and they also have various acts playing in an old church.

no it's because i'm a ninja pirate and any place i can't sneak into, i can swashbuckle my way into.

if you volunteer 18 hours at a country music festival in the same location the week after then they'll give you a free ticket to coachella. it's not guaranteed, but i've volunteered at a lot of festivals. so you in?

Yup, volunteer, that fails then its over the fence :D

Some friends of mine went to Ziget in Budapest last year and met some English guy who crawled half a mile on top of a tiny sewage pipe running under the only bridge to get in over a shitty river...where theres a will theres a way!
